WHAT WE DO

W

WORKSHOPS

• We conduct research and prepare creative learning solutions for your company's needs. We provide continuing professional

development training packages for the

education, corporate and business sectors.

• Our unique interactive approach

to conducting our workshops will help

delegates to personalise their learning experience and explore new knowledge.

• All workshops are currently 1-day programmes, however, we also offer

‘follow up’ packages for those interested

in further developing their skills.

C

CARDS

• Our flashcards have been developed as a result of higher education student knowledge

and feedback.

• Our model to support learning is also used to prepare our workshop materials and handbooks.

• Our material supports deep learning and thinkingby breaking information down to basic step-by-step processes.

• The processes we use are simple and effective and can be used to enhance any learning and working environment.

A

APP

• Our mobile app aims to support learners with consistent

problem-solving which we believe develops the learner's ability to locate positive responses to a given task or project.

• It also offers customised and personalised learning solutions.

• It offers the learner the opportunity to accumulate and log CPD hours (track document) and credits (learning activities).

LEARNING STYLES

Reflective Learning Style

The academic research used to support this programme focused on Problem-Based Learning, Deep Thinking, and Learning and Relevance.

The approach used encouraged:

• Use of prior knowledge

• Individual and group related tasks, activities and discussions

• Preparing tasks that identify real problems from real-life situations

Throughout the one year academic research, we noticed that many learners found it difficult to use a reflective journal and did not know how to integrate new knowledge with prior knowledge. For some, it was also difficult to keep checks on how and what was being learned.

The result of this knowledge and feedback provided much information for developing a model to support learning which then led to learning and teaching materials, and workshops that implemented the model, and today we are seeking to develop a mobile app. The model is a supportive framework to make learning personally meaningful which comes from the constructivist perspective.

LEARNING ACTIVITIES

LEARNING ACTIVITIES

Activity-Based Learning, Situated Learning, Differentiated Learning

(We have implemented activity-based learning in our programmes, it includes writing/drawing responses, solving puzzles, creating personal models for individual learning, individual and group discussions).

Our interactive approach means we support delegates to explore a personalised learning style and:

• Information that they can relate to

• Content that is focused, with clear aims & objectives

• An interactive experience that is both motivational and concerned with the learners' involvement in the workshop

• Practical knowledge that is useful in both learning and working environments

MOBILE APP

Blended Learning

Game-based Learning

(Learning through games)

Our mobile app supports problem-solving, memory and improving focus, as well as active-based learning, situated learning, differentiated learning, and game-based learning/teaching approaches.

The aim of the App:

• Customised and personalised learning

Accumulating, maintaining and monitoring CPD

• Supporting learners in making advancements, becoming adaptable and finding ways through their new learning experiences and where appropriate combine their past learning with new knowledge

• Consistent problem-solving experiences that may develop the learners' ability to locate positive responses to given tasks, and may also lead to developing an individual practice and process

• Negotiating meaning and building knowledge
